If a business was handling my personal information using outmoded and insecure hardware and software then I think it's my right as a consumer to know.
it's also my right to complain, as well as completely drop the service
they deserve to be smeared if they're holding personal info on there like that IMHO. It's just begging to get hacked. Better spend a ton of money upgrading than dealing with a horde of lawsuits / etc.
Are you one of those idiots who have all that screen space but have nothing on their desktop?
I am one of those persons who keeps their most important stuff pinned to the taskbar, something you can't do in XP. I also like how i can just open start menu and start typing something i want to find unlike in XP where i have to go trough a bunch of folders and then it takes minutes to search
Don't forget that unlike most people they can't pirate en masse. They are paying upwards of $100000 for a volume licensing contract.
Also, the fuck are you doing in school that justifies a need for 7? You're either working on assignments, writing reports or browsing.
Are you seriously this retarded? Do you honestly think that schools want to use a more than 10 year old OS that's full of security holes and are pretty much open to hackers? Then let's not even talk about IT courses and computer science but you are right what the fuck am i doing in those schools?
