DICE make fixing Battlefield 4 netcode issues one of their "top priorities" - Sensationalist Headlines

Developers are not infallible, any software they program is bound to have bugs, and if they don't have the QA budget or team to test it thoroughly, they're gonna get through. Almost every piece of software we use has a huge bug that when fixed brings a new one to the spotlight. It's annoying, but that's development for you. Not counting the massive variety of hardware they have to target without the ability to test on it. DICE are the masters of shitty netcode and bugs. They always have been, and strangely people only seem to remember the DICE from ~5 years post-BF2 launch where most of the game breakers had been fixed.

I got this game for PS4 and it has just sat on my shelf since two weeks after I bought it. Game consistently crashed, and online just straight up refused to work properly.
