Current gen overlord would be sweet. Always loved the idea of being the villain.
Hell yeah! I've played Overlord 2 many times, and I'm totally ready to see what they have to offer for Overlord 3. At least, I dearly hope it's Overlord 3 and not Overlord Mobile. That said I'm pretty sure Codemasters ain't that foolish.
Hopefully Rhianna Pratchett will be back to write for this one, nothing like a dark satire of fantasy/fairytale tropes to compliment the dark Pikmin-esque experience.
I am so hype now.
Oh god yes please
Could be neat. I always liked the concept, but the execution in either of the previous games was very lacking in my opinion.
yes PLEASE

And Michiel van den Bos will be back as the composer. His soundtrack for the games are absolutely amazing.

That guy has made music for Deus Ex, Age of Wonders, Age of Wonders 3 and first Overlord too

MvdB is awesome, love his stuff.
Yeah, those games had pretty great music.
I can only imagine what new things could be in Overlord 3. The second one brought mounts into the equation (Wolves for the Browns, Spiders for the Greens, Salamanders for the Reds), though for some reason the Blue Minions didn't have a mount.
I always figured that was due to the difficulty of coming up with something relevant. I mean wolves for browns makes sense, they charge in and fight. Spiders for greens gives them flanking opportunities that weren't otherwise possible, which was important for the 'assassins.' Salamanders - as I recall, been a while - increased the reds' firepower, which was their entire design. What would blues even get? Frogs is the only thing I can think, but you'd have the issue of it not necessarily making their job as healers and ghost killers better. I just couldn't see it adding enough, personally.
After seeing Conkers revived corpse, I could go with some good news!
Hooray for Rhianna Pratchett! With her writing, its like her father is still with us!

Maybe the frogs coulda acted like moving buff stations with lightning tongues. Remember how the minions would drink and become more powerful? Well, maybe the minions coulda licked the toads and gone into some sort of numb battle trance where they don't take as much damage from regular attacks? It'd make sense, although it'd probably bump up the age rating by referencing psychoactive toads, since while alcohol is one thing, hard drugs is another according to many rating boards.
Also the lightning tongue thing woulda made their ghost-fighting abilities even better.

Ay don't forget Unreal and Unreal Tournament.
Overlord II's lategame was pretty lame and the final fight was just disappointing. Here's to hoping they make up for that in this new release.
I hope the overlord is more like the original rather than the second's huge asshole.
