It's Kyubey, from an anime called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I have no idea why is it in there.
It is Maractus

Oh, now I see it :v: The "contract" joke confused me, sorry
To be honest they already killed almost every other tradition Pokemon had so I shouldn't have been surprised.

I'm surprised that you didn't get any insults for using memebase
I don't get the people saying some pokémon look like aliens, supposedly some of them ARE from outer space :v:
Looks like I'll be choosing the chick again this time around. The only time I've ever chosen the male over the female was in Ruby.

Even some of the first pokemon come from (or are related to) outer space.
Look at these guys, for example:

I don't get the criteria on what makes a Pokemon look like an alien, unless they look like these:
[t]http://discovermagazine.com/2007/jan/20-things-aliens/alien198.jpg[/t][t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/26/Alien_vs._Predator_(2004)_-_Alien.jpg/215px-Alien_vs._Predator_(2004)_-_Alien.jpg[/t]
I don't like the new character designs, really.
To be honest, this was always my favorite protagonist design. Not just because of the hat.

I am glad that it isn't going to be a complete rehash, and-HOLY SHIT YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND NON-5TH GEN POKEMON IN THIS ONE. That was the only reason I didn't find B/W as enjoyable.
Also, the Mareep family line better be able to learn Tail Glow now.

You can find non-gen5 pokemon in B/W, but they only appear when you beat the main storyline, and most of them are only in post-game areas.
In this case you find them right from the beginning, which is an awesome thing
I'm also looking forward for new moveset expansions, specially tutor moves
While I do agree that pokemon have always looked bizarre and the rose tinted glasses always make people look down on future generations.Anyone that says some of these pokemon designs aren't ridiculous are definitely fooling themselves.

Thats got to be have been one of the most lazily designed things I have ever seen.
more lazily designed than voltorb, yep

All gens have their bad pokemon, but it's a very subjective matter since it depends of the opinion of people. For example, IMO Gen III has a good bunch of bad/unimaginative ones (Volbeat/Illumise, Plusle/Minun, Grumpig and Skitty/Delcatty)
In your case, I'm rather neutral about Vanillite's evolutionary line, I find Cryogonal much more hideous

Yeah I know, I didn't like having to wait until beating the game to actually get some of the "old gold" Pokemon though, especially when I really wanted them on a playthrough.
After beating the game, there is little to do in B/W, so there was no fun in catching and raising a level 60 Gulpin anyway.
But yes, this is great news for me.

Not necessarily lazy, but silly. I like Vanilluxe though, he's on my fat/food Pokemon team and fairs quite well. As said before, Cryogonal is much more ugly.
What's worse is the pokemon designs, before they used to look like animals now they look like outer space aliens.
Yeah, very earthly.

Don't you EVER, dis Plusle and Minun AGAIN!

I'm just not a big fan of the trend of making Pikachu doppelgangers every gen (Those two, Pachirisu, Emolga...). Well, to give some credit, I like Emolga's typing
I'm okay with designs as long as they still look like an animal/monster thing. The one above looks flat out like an ice cream cone, and that's just silly.
I wish I could play this but Pokemon Black: Creepypasta kept me away.....right away
