A change of voice isn't a big problem, really. Voice acting was never too big in Phoenix Wright.
Perhaps the hiring of a bigger voice actor could mean that we're going to get a lot more voice work than just "hold it!/take that!/objection!"

Also, I'm pretty sure that is Sam Riegel because that "objection!" sounded like Teddie from persona 4. Who shares the same VA.
The problem is that it sounds like a bad anime dub. It's fine if they change the VA but this doesn't even sound good.
You only heard him say objection. You can't make a judgement like that with only one word.

But worrying about the voice work of phoenix wright is stupid anyway. How "objection" sounds has nothing to do with anything.
Perhaps the objection in the trailer was ripped straight from marvel vs capcom. Still, either way it doesn't matter.
isn't this game supposed to have animated cut-scenes with voice acted scenes and stuff?
eshop? do you have to get nintendo points or something to buy it?
Nope, Nintendo was actually smart this time, and you can inject your money directly into Nintendo's wallet, no points required. If you want to put money into your account for later you have to do it in set amounts, but if you want to buy one thing you can pay exact amounts. It's quite nice.
