People like that take video games far too seriously.
you lads need to refresh your memories then
there was even a thread right here where people were hyped as fuck
I remember the hype. I don't remember anybody calling it a "cod killer". As hyped as people were, they still generally knew the Red Orchestra series catered to a more niche market.
I won't be paying for another year of premium-beta-feedback, fuck off EA!
Remember when Red Orchestra 2 was supposed to be a functioning game that didn't have crippling/annoying bugs years after release?
I don't
its been fixed since rising storm
Not if the next COD is a good WW2 Game.
Provided this next battlefield isn't going to be a WW2 Game.
I really don't understand how anyone can be excited about a ww2. If you said cold war or something, then sure.
The sheer amount of ww2 games we've had in the past pretty much kills any kind of excitement for anything new. A rarer setting on the other hand...
EA is desperate to get a huge following for their games so they can rake in all that delicious merchandising royalties, or increased micromarket transactions.
Shame that they can't make a game anyone take fucking seriously. Maybe some MLG Sims4?
as much as I love how long Battlefield 4 has been lasting, let's not forget that the continued support was pretty much luck of the draw. I am afraid this won't be EA's new standard
