I knew this game was going to bomb as soon as I saw what the entire game was about. You simply cannot keep people interested in such a shallow, expensive game unless you provide constant free support. But I knew that wasn't going to happen because 2K games. This is one of those occasions where I'm just glad I didn't buy into the hype. As a big fan of L4D that would've been real easy for me to. As much as I wish better for Turtle Rock, they should've gone with another publisher.

i hope there's a season subscription pass that you can buy that includes all the season passes that include all of the DLC
Turtle Rock Studios killed both itself and its reputation with Evolve. The work they did with the Source Engine(L4D, Counter Strike) was great, but now they decided to go down the microtransaction pay to win route. The game had potential and the advertisements made it look great, but boy, did it kill one of my favorite game companies.
I think one of the reasons it bombed was because they had a really long alpha and beta that shit tons of people played. As a result of that a lot of people who would have bought it realised just how quickly the game gets stale and opted not to, like me. Same thing happened with Destiny though obviously that game still sold very well.
I said it when the game was still in alpha. Where's the replayability? The mechanics are just the same stuff every single game, which is fine, but they aren't even good mechanics. Run away till you are omegawtfhax fed, then fight. Doing anything else is likely to get you killed unless the enemy team plays badly, and you should never rely on that, let alone in an "esport".
If this game was originally released for $30 with all the content it has now I would have bought it.

Most dlc is skins, and most hunters aren't any tier difference B. 2k games priced the dlc, the game, and made the packages
