So is it worth the price? I'd like to play it and I love Dead Rising 2 but I could just replay that and 40 dollars seems a bit steep right now.
It's only worth 40 if you haven't tried DR2 yet

Back and badass as ever. Honestly, for me... it's just nice to see Frank West/the camera back in Dead Rising. I would only suggest this to the hardcore Dead Rising fans out there. Those people will extremely appreciate it, while people who hardly care will not get their moneys worth.
For me though, it was TOTALLY worth the $40. There is a LOooot of content added, enough for me to play the game non stop, even though I beat DR2 three times! I can't wait to try out the sandbox co-op mode with my BFF!

The game is not available in my country :wtc:
Capcom also considers Australia germany

Add me on Steam if anyone wants to Co-Op
I thought it was a DLC. Holy fuck was I wrong.
This is not a bad deal if you don't already own the game(in which case, why the fuck not?), but for everyone who already owns DR2... well, let's just say Capcom forgot that we live in the in the year 2011 where you can release updates to your games via the so called "internet". That means you don't have to fuck over your fanbase with unjustified re-releases of games with a few tweaks on a bloody disc!
Now I will personally be buying this since I never played DR2 but I can completly understand it if fans feel cheated.
why the fuck does the first one have better graphics than the 2's?
[sp]Chuck is the playable character for the second player, his moves are the ones from DR2 and completely different from Frank's[/sp]

[sp]So Chuck fights Chuck?[/sp]
[sp]Chuck doesn't necessarily 'die' when you defeat him in the Psychopath battle. In fact, he and Frank actually shared some common interests so I guess I would make some sense for him to be fighting alongside Frank.[/sp]
EDIT: Wrong quote.
I played Dead Rising 2 for like a hundred hours so I probably won't be picking this one up unless it is really cheap over the Christmas sales or something.

I think you can pick up disc copies on the cheap. If you played DR2 for ~100 hours, then you'll probably really enjoy sandbox mode in this one.

Yeah, the sandbox mode sounds neat. I reckon this is a title I will pick up at some stage - probably when I next fancy playing Dead Rising. Are the performance updates noticeable at all?
Bought this the other day.
Fun game easily worth the pricetag
If you live outside the US, £13 on Amazon is a fantastic price. I have DR2 and love it to death but for that price, which is badically the cost of a DLC, it's very good indeed. Love What If scenarios.
I'll get this at Christmas when it'll no doubt be a tenner.
Getting it for £8 from GAME. Got £5 on my reward card :v:

Also, is this game worth the money, even for £13 and runs well?
