well at least people posted in the RPS threads. Shacknews threads get about 5 replies then die off. And there's about 30 SN threads made every day it seems like.
Besides, RPS articles were always interesting to read, regardless of whether they were actual news pieces, the sunday papers, or just a blog. Their writers have wit and are able to personally relate to the gaming community that they are reporting to. And the fact that the news node wasn't littered with dozens of their posts was a plus too.

because then within a couple weeks of the RPS bot going back up everybody will be all like "omg RPS sucks I miss ShackNews"

I sincerely doubt that considering the reason the RPS bot was pulled was because of a few people who consistently bitched about every post they made and then when it was pulled, the vast, VAST majority of facepunch was requesting that we bring it back, acknowledging that shack news wasn't as good of a bot.
Slender isn't scary. It isn't good. But because youtubers milked it for views and purposefully overreacted to it, the game now has false hype.

It happens every news bot change. Always.
Am I the only one who is bored of Slender already?
Countless of videos, I got forced to try it and I got totally bored and never flinched in the game.
I'm waiting for any YouTube reaction video "celebrities" to hype this game to no end.
I also hope that people will absolutely rape it with hilarious re-skins like SCP Containment Breach. And why co-op? It's not scary.
