Games I talk about mod support in that "50% of all my posts" are games that have had mod support in the past and been extremely succesful. Nice try there furry man.
do i need to explain why battlefield 4 will never have mod support or are you going to blot out your ears and pretend not to hear me like most users on this forum? could explain call of duty too, but that's pretty self explanatory
Like, half of your posts are about asking for mod support. You know that some of the best games of this generation don't have mod support, right?
They could be better though
Like, half of your posts are about asking for mod support. You know that some of the best games of this generation don't have mod support, right?
And those games will probably be forgotten in ten or so years. Why do you think so many people still play old games like half life or gta sanandreas or why did just cause 2 gained so much popularity after they modded multiplayer in? Good mod support guarantees that a game won't die out. But i guess the reason battlefield and cod doesnt have any is because the devs want people to buy the new cod and battlefield every year...
Console players say the same thing about gamepads. It's really down to preference unless it's gamepad vs mouse in the same match. FPS works best on whatever you like playing on.
Actually the muscles in your thumb aren't designed for precise movement. They're designed for coarse, simplistic motions. The muscles in your wrist, arm, and fingers combined, however, are designed for very precise movements.
PC-centric forums have a hard time understanding. Though when you don't have much controller experience it'd be tough to imagine it working. Do you still play Halo or have you switched to CoD?
Stopped after Reach. Didn't like what the game had become.

People just want it because there are absolutely no negatives to the player. Maybe they'll sell less DLC maybe they won't. I think you should loosen up that collar you're being negative for no reason:v:
not multiplayer, doesn't rely on dlc for extra cash
You do know there's single player games that rely on dlc for extra cash right? They also have no mod support.
Best on PC yet no mod support? Fuck off.
Why do people act like every game needs mod support?
Why do people act like every game needs mod support?
Seriously, mod support is a bonus, a little something the developers either add it or leave open when they feel like it. Not something you should expect, not something you are entitled to when you buy a game. It's a bonus. The developer has to support and maintain the mod tools remember, that's a fucking ton of work for a developer when they have other, more important things to be doing like not fucking up the next game.
Why do people act like every game needs mod support?
Previous CoD's did. They are obviously not in need of money and they still don't add them in anyways. I'm not saying all games need mod support but it's bullshit to have a game that has mod support and then they stop doing it.

Every engine can be modified, every game cannot. The newer games may or may not expose themselves enough for safe modification, which could be a choice on the developers part to cut costs, or to push the game out faster, or just because they don't want to manage the tools. Besides, CoD mods historically have sucked massive amounts of dick.
I hate how there's battlefield doing their own thing then there's call of duty Implementing mechanics from other games ( Melee animations Halo and Battlefield) and loads more, if your franchise is going stale, innovate, don't steal ideas from successful games and wonder why people aren't impressed. SSDD (Same Shit, Different Disk)
Looking at how fast the community dies down on PC for every CoD in comparison to consoles, I could hardly say it's gonna be the best on it just because it's visually better. Especially if you consider this is the franchise that has advertised itself for having mouse controls on PC before.
Console players say the same thing about gamepads. It's really down to preference unless it's gamepad vs mouse in the same match. FPS works best on whatever you like playing on.
Console players only defend controllers because the developers give them a sort-of-but-not-really aimbot to improve their aim and make them feel as if they actually were good at the game. When they move to PC, they find out they can't aim worth shit and blame it on the hardware, despite being a hell of a lot more precise.
Why do people act like every game needs mod support?
Well, in multiplayer games, a supply of new maps being created can extend the lifespan of the game exponentially. Means you get a lot more value out of the title. Of course, won't happen because then people would reproduce all those map packs.
Every opinion is subjective, so there's no such thing as a "good game" or "bad game." What's your point?
You're the one saying some of the "best" games of this generation don't have modding support. My point is fucking clear as day, dude.
Well, in multiplayer games, a supply of new maps being created can extend the lifespan of the game exponentially. Means you get a lot more value out of the title. And I'm sure people wouldn't mind supporting the devs further. Shit I would've bought maps for chivalry if they didn't go full retard with the pay for helmets shit. In my mind it's just a sign of respect. Look at the killing floor devs, they are pretty respectable and bro-tier. CoD just feels 2corporate4me.
I hate how there's battlefield doing their own thing
hahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA did you even play BF3?
Besides, CoD mods historically have sucked massive amounts of dick.
Merciless Matador mod for CoD 2 was fucking awesome, I'll have you know.
