I really disagree. Sure they sold 1.1 but judging by the launch week they should have easily sold 2.5, and could have gotten higher if the DRM wasn't involved.
The massive amount of bad press and bad metacritic reviews caused by the DRM will seriously damage the long term profit of a game that is genuenly good and coulld have easily sold "Skyrim-strong" where it just steaily sells over the entire year.
And this number doesn't include chargebacks/refunds, of which must be very signifigant considering amazon literally had to stop selling the game because it was likely loosing too much money from refunds for a while, not to mention how prevalent the talk of refunds were.
The DRM straight up hurt sales of the game massively and I'm expecting such DRM measures to not be nearly as prevalent in the near future because of it.
