GTA series
That's very subjective. Some people don't like using auto-aim but it's also annoying not to have it when using a controller.
That's very subjective. Also, helicopters are pretty much literally uncontrollable without an xbox pad.
Also, helicopters are pretty much literally uncontrollable without an xbox pad.
I'll give you that one, don't remind me.

Also, helicopters are pretty much literally uncontrollable without an xbox pad.
I actually like the GTA 4 controls, even the driving ones. [editline]20th September 2013[/editline] I haven't tried flying though.
There's a lot of reasons to have an xbox controller lying around. Dark Souls, LEGO games, GTA series, misc. driving games, casual flight games and so forth.
Lying around yes, but I don't actually own one. Never had a reason to. I even like playing driving games with a keyboard.
Not going to bother getting it because I don't really want to buy an Xbox controller to play one game, but I'll keep an eye on it. Looked really cool on the 360. Say what you like though, pretty silly not to to have the game set up for the PC's native set-up. Anywho, looking forward to the more polished result.
There will be PC controls by the time the game's re-released, I don't think they've developed for PCs before so they're taking a bit to figure out what should go where in the controls.
Someone tell me: Is the framerate higher than 20, and do cars stop popping in after you've passed them and or slammed into them
good thing you misquoted me, that'll prove me wrong for sure [editline]20th September 2013[/editline] it looks pretty fun but I'd rather wait till they get the visual bugs out of the way
what the fuck are you on about misquoted? jesus christ it's like you don't realize this is early access.
Bought it, it's perfectly playable for me with keyboard and mouse You just have to figure out the controls by yourself and the user interface is a straight port right now but I can't complain And yeah if you didn't know keyboard and mouse does work right now, just not as good as it should
So why is this game so popular? I haven't payed much attention to it since I don't own any console.
So why is this game so popular? I haven't payed much attention to it since I don't own any console.
It is a zombie game focused on surviving and managing limited resources instead of running around with crazy improvised weapons killing thousands of zombies.
It is a zombie game focused on surviving and managing limited resources instead of running around with crazy improvised weapons killing thousands of zombies.
Or being an asshole to everyone and basically being a shell for a permadeath deathmatch game.
I've noticed it's dark at night. Like, really dark. Like, completely pitch black if-i-take-a-screenshot-it-will-all-be-0-0-0-on-RGB dark. Is this how it's meant to be? Seems strange, to say the least. Unless you're nightblinding yourself like a moron with a flashlight, night isn't all that dark in real life, even when moonless.
There's a lot of reasons to have an xbox controller lying around. Dark Souls, LEGO games, GTA series, misc. driving games, casual flight games and so forth.
A PS3 controller works fine too. It was iffy a few years back but now there's next to no difference as for functionality.
I just wait for the PC and Mouse controls and a special cheat engine/trainer for the game, and i'll be a happy camper who be playing this hardcorely.
Moonless nights out where there's no man made lights gets really fucking dark.
You can see if you don't night-blind yourself.
Also, helicopters are pretty much literally uncontrollable without an xbox pad.
I'm sorry, what? I rebound my controls to the same ones used in Arma 2 and I literally have no issue flying and actually enjoy it. Even with the defaults it's a bit finicky but nowhere near uncontrollable unless you're just bad/not used to them. On the topic of the game there is limited mouse and keyboard support. Someone made a post here with most of the binds.
You can see if you don't night-blind yourself.
i don't know where you live, but there must be some pretty serious light pollution if you can see without a flashlight on the night of a new moon
i don't know where you live, but there must be some pretty serious light pollution if you can see without a flashlight on the night of a new moon
i live in the middle of nowhere in the countryside, and if your vision is literally perfect you can just barely see a couple feet ahead on a new moon. your vision is still mostly useless nonetheless, so a flashlight is a necessity
Will they make this game harder? I have played for about 7 hours and haven't died yet
I hope they will include a difficulty mode at some point, I loved playing it on xbox but it had some flaws. Nevertheless it's the closest thing to a surivial zombie game that exists.
That's what this is. Way to go, you figured it out.
are you trying to imply that having early access to a game before it's out alleviates the most standard prerequisite of PC gaming, ever? this is pretty damn stupid.
It's quite interesting. Played it for a few hours already and I can surely say that I enjoyed it.
are you trying to imply that having early access to a game before it's out alleviates the most standard prerequisite of PC gaming, ever? this is pretty damn stupid.
Knowing the game actually runs on the platform is more important than remapping the controls. And as it is, they have some major performance kinks to fix up. [editline]22nd September 2013[/editline] Besides, it does work with the mouse and keyboard; they're just not remappable or prompted yet.
so uh, is this game worth the 20 €?
so uh, is this game worth the 20 €?
Got an xbox controller and/or are you okay with clunky keyboard controls? Then yes. Very muchly so.
Got an xbox controller and/or are you okay with clunky keyboard controls? Then yes. Very muchly so.
i only have a ps3 controller but i think that works fine
i only have a ps3 controller but i think that works fine
If it works with other games, yes.
