Do you know how torrents work? More people downloading from a torrent generally makes the download go faster.
I pretty much said the same thing, yet got boxes for it :v:
Facepunch sometimes

That happens fairly often. I think it has to do with who sees the post first. People who saw your post and rated it dumb probably didn't see the other one which instead got other ratings.

Yeah I noticed that usually the first couple of ratings determine what other people will rate.
And no fp isn't a hivemind it's a community made out of people though, and people generally are liable to psychology.
once you beat the sp of 5 you really can't do much in the freeroam outside of mindless police rampages, theres no way to gain more money or whatever and you probably have most if not all of the side missions done by then as well
gtao lets you do the same things except with infinite progression
Infinite progression and fun restriction
I preordered the PS3 version.
I bought a PS4 to play the PS4 version.
I trust Rockstar. Will preorder first thing when my salary arrives.
Should be $50 with all the delaying and shit they did.
Oh you mean taking time to deliver a finished product?
I was dead excited and pre-ordered straight away. Reading this thread has made me feel a bit stupid but I still want the game on PC since the only time I've actually played 5 is on a friends xbox.
the last game i preordered was battlefield 3 because me and my dad loved bfbc2. yall already know hoow that went.
i dont even remember the last time i bought an aaa game, and gta is probably my favourite game so... preordered.
i dont think theres any other game in the horizon (or any other game at all) that i'd preorder besides gta.
But why preorder? Just for the free $3 game and ingame cash? At least wait until you can preload.
watchdogs had a 5 month delay iirc
And Watch_Dogs was made by Ubisoft, a developer that can't even make their games work on a console.
Also GTAV has been out for years so I don't get what you're getting it, it's not like it's going to be overhyped, it's already out.
it's not like it's going to be overhyped
PC version is so overhyped right now
ubisoft aside from ac was seen as a pretty good publisher before wd's release
That doesn't mean anything when anything that's come out of the company afterwards has been bug-riddled pieces of shit. Their reputation of "can't make PC ports" dropped to "can't make games" and hasn't changed since. Rockstar can at least do the latter, so I generally have more faith in them, especially since the people who ported GTAIV are not porting GTAV, and I doubt they'd want the bad PR of another shit GTA PC port.
Ubisoft, on the other hand, seems to not really give a fuck as long as people keep buying their shit.
i dont think you understand what im saying
Ah, I got it.
Still though, Watch_Dogs was a letdown on every platform. GTAV is at least not shit on consoles.
I preordered the PS3 version.

I preordered the Xbox 360 version.
I waited for the PC version when they announced the next gen versions.
Should be $50 with all the delaying and shit they did.
LOL holy shit the entitlement.
But why preorder? Just for the free $3 game and ingame cash? At least wait until you can preload.
Uh, why? What do you mean by this?
Why should people wait till they can preload?
I can't decide whether I want to keep my retail pre-order and not have it on Steam, or cancel it and use that credit to buy steam cards and just buy it on Steam.
I like having all my games on steam, even if I have to download them. Dying Light retail is redeemable on Steam, I don't see why GTAV isn't, especially with its size.

you can add it as a non steam shortcut

Because Rockstar has their own way of doing this and I guess don't want to rely on Steam. None of their games have ever required Steam, so I don't see why they'd start now.

But then you lose achievements, auto-updating, stats, etc and all Steam ends up doing is having its overlay.
LOL holy shit the entitlement.
I'd say it was entitlement if it was 20 to 10 but 60 to 50 is like, more affordable for simple mortals.
I'd rather lose out on that and not have to download 65 GB. All that stuff is extras for me.
Uh, why? What do you mean by this?

Because there's literally no reason to pay for a product nobody outside the company has even seen yet if you don't get something in return (like preloading or beta access for instance).
Because there's literally no reason to pay for a product nobody outside the company has even seen yet if you don't get something in return (like preloading or beta access for instance).
You get San Andreas? And if you wait until preload, you don't.
Finally I waited for this game to come out on steam, since I joined steam, and it's finaly going to come out.
Because there's literally no reason to pay for a product nobody outside the company has even seen yet if you don't get something in return (like preloading or beta access for instance).
Yeeaahh... 65GB of encrypted bits just what I want to be sure I'm not being fooled.
Sure if there was a beta access I might consider waiting but I really don't see preloading a good reason.
What? this game is over a year old and it costs fucking 90$ here.
it would be normal if it cost 40 but nope greedy asses gotta charge for it like a new game
32 euros, legit website, universal key (no RU region lock). now quit crying, you're just not looking enough
nuuvem is licensed by steam and shit
Since it's not in english I couldn't find any info on this. I never heard of steam licensing digital stores and would like to know more, do you have any info on that?

They had GZ out early so people could preload
They are pretty trustworthy
-snip bad reading-
there was a page where steam posted stores that were authorized or something but i dont remember where that is

this is sniper elite's thing, nuuvem is also there, but this isnt steam's list
either way, i can vouch for nuuvem, i've bought many steam games there and had no issues whatsoever. just make sure you're buying a region free game. even though nuuvem isnt one of those sites that buys keys from russia, it's still subject to steam's region limitations (which dont apply if youre buying gta 5 because it's going to be on rockstars service anyway)
but i don't think gta v is a steam key. see here:

Furthermore, if you're worried about region locks, check here
http://www.steamlocks.tk/index.php
19/01/2015 - Newest Grand Theft Auto V Gifts from China and India (with CN / IN Tag) are still region free.
They can, however, be region loccked on run in the near future or may have missing languages and contents on release (also if redeemed on library).
Buy them at your own risk!
