Did they change it? Because the initial list really wasn't very limiting at all.
Werent the F2P limits something really simple like less decor items for your house and stuff like that? doesnt seem crippling at all

If you think it's "crippling" take a look at SWTOR.
2 character slots, 4 costume slots, 2 bank slots, 1k decor items, 3 active buy bids, 3 active sell lots, 1 circle, no CS priority, normal rate for currency and gathering, no ptr access, no priority for queue bypass, "Wake Here cooldown is 1 hr, 1% every 12 hours, capped at 150% of the current level for rest exp, Earn XP at normal rates, Cannot invite into or create a Warparty for F2P.
Half of that is normal (IE: normal gathering rates and queue priority), subs just get a bonus. That makes sense, you need an incentive to sub otherwise there wouldn't even be the option to. The rest you can earn more via loyalty points (if you played prior to F2P), buy the box and unlock it outright, or buy access via microtransactions (like buying more slots).
It's reasonable.

With the exception of some of the guild related stuff, I find no problems in that. Plus you get a lot more character slots by just buying the game. Which was on humble bundle for $1 during E3.
Do people who bought the game, but don't have an active sub have access to this beta? Or do you have to get selected for it.

AFAIK, you need to be selected. Sign ups began a while back.
