Okay fuck it, i'll buy it, getting back to you all on how it plays.

Agreed, it's overall pretty meh. The game throws you into a huge labyrinth with fuck all idea of what to do, and I found myself retracing my steps constantly because the game is just so unspecific on where you need to go and what you need to do. The combat doesn't make any sense because ranged attacks + melee attacks are the same button, and ranged attacks use up energy, so the only way to guarantee a melee attack is to be close enough to an enemy to land one.

Just because good games can be made with awful tools doesn't mean that the tools used aren't awful. Did you miss how Binding of Isaac is literally being remade because what they've done is making flash collapse in on itself
