Name me 1 bad Valve game that isnt Ricochet.
To be fair, Ricochet isn't bad as per-say. It's just dead nowadays and turned into a meme of sorts.
ricochets the shit
Valve hasn't developed anything respectable in-house sense Portal 2. Those holding on to hope that Valve will come through with another great singleplayer experience are grasping at straws
We need another German kid to hack and leak valves stuff again...
do you even know what you're saying? do you want the life's work of almost a hundred employees to be leaked, to the point of where they have to start from scratch? do you want them to start from scratch and redo the painstaking work on possibly the most hyped game of all time, just because some little shit leaked all their work to the public that they may have been working on for 2 years? sure, it's not fair that valve is incredibly opaque, but this is not the way to go about it. if all of it would be leaked, it's going to take even more time to recreate the game. then the fans will flip their shit at valve for not releasing the game already.

WiiU exclusive.
how about Apple TV Exclusive™

I think once they got over the "oh this game looks so amazing, so lifelike" phase and realised that both the gameplay and plot are average at best.
I doubt Valve would sell HL lol.. sure fucking hope not.
Valve and in fact Gaben have explained through their own ways of communication as to what it would "take" to make HL3 btw. It's related to the way Valve works, or at least has worked (and I believe they still do work this way somewhat, except Valve is probably growing as a company?) And the way they work revolves around the idea of some employee, or a bunch of them, or even a new guy with a vision, explaining why it's a good idea to make HL3 at the time, which probably takes timing and planning and so on, and that's it. Assuming they would find it so.
Or they could sell HL, if that's a good idea to them. But I seriously doubt that tbh. What use would they have for that money? I think Valve are doing okay financially.
The only reason Naughty Dog would want HL is why Rockstar wanted Max Payne, luring people into buying their shit. These would be my two cents.
