All i care about is the distinct lack of bolt action rifles. They work in a fast paced action shooter , Medal of Honor:AA and CoD 1 to name just 2 of my favorite games prove this, and no they don't = Camping nor do they = Mil sim.
I'd be happy if you had a stock masuer and enfield avalible for all classes. And while that's partly to do with the historical significance of said weapons in the war, it's mostly because of the gameplay those 2 weapons offer without you having to be a sniper in both role and gameplay perk.
Bolt-action rifles are tied to the scout class. Personally I think the scout should get scoped rifles (with lower zoom levels than other BF games to reflect the technology of the time) and unscoped rifles should be usable by everyone.
My issue with it not being historically accurate, is that if it were, the game would be much more unique, and a departure from what the usual Battlefield offers.
As of now it looks like BF3 with a sheet thrown over it. And shitty battlefron mechanics.
