I loved BRO, why does everyone else seem to hate it? Because it's CoD? Because the story is just a knock-off of Saving Private Ryan with no actual saving of any private?
it is from before cod was a hated franchise and it actually got alright reviews
Screw afghanistan, we need a good up to date vietnam game. With a singleplayer story. We have BFBC2 Vietnam, but there's not much there.
Bahahaha Warfighter? What kind of name is that.
Why do these franchises have to be either modern or ww2? What about all the other wars that have happened, haven't seen a game about the korean war before.
I loved BRO, why does everyone else seem to hate it? Because it's CoD? You start in Africa for Christ's sake.
The multiplayer for MOH 2010 was terrible. Mortars and cruise missiles would always land right in spawn. Singleplayer was way to short. In my opinion, the devs tried to turn MOH into its own brand of COD. MOH is just another casualty of the franchise war between Activision and EA. Anybody remember MOH: Airborne? Good game.
I never understood that point, because it doesn't even follow Saving Private Ryan. You start in Africa for Christ's sake.
But the characters are lifted right from that movie. I still liked them though, as they had more memorable characters then MoH in some cases.
i want a realistic, current-gen remake of allied assault
I want WW2 games to become popular again :(
So what's wrong with Red Orchestra 2?
I want a nice, realistic and historically accurate WWII game for a change.
Agreed. A WWII MoH game with BF3's engine would be amazing.
Whatever happened to MoH being this?
Whatever happened to MoH being this?
I fucked that mission up so bad the first time through, I was terrible at the undercover missions.
Fucking hah. "Warfighter" This is going to be the most OPERATOR game ever.
Just another game that will try to compete with cod.
If it's any game I want, it's DICE to make Battlefield 3: 1942 or something, that brings back ol' school weapons, planes, tanks etc. And let the WW2 weapons be transferable to BF3/BtK :v:
So what's wrong with Red Orchestra 2?
Evidently everything since it's pretty close to being dead.
I want WW2 games to become popular again :(
Except games would be even less original because there aren't many good ways to warp WWII to fit your terribly unoriginal WWII shooter number 1034235
Fuck WW2 games I wanna see some WW1 games for a change
I'd like to see a futuristic game about a hypothetical World War. Kind of like Fallout's "Great War" between the U.S. and China in 2077 (I think?). Something between modern and future with a nice fleshed out story.
there's a vietnam mod coming for RO2
Medal of Honor 'Warfighter'? Why does it even need a 'Warfighter' tagline... What else would you do in the game, go shopping? Medal of Honor : Grocery Clerk Really liked the 2010 MoH's single player though... I'm going to miss the Unreal Engine however, they did some amazing work with it. Frostbite is flexible and pretty but you just KNOW it's going to be all blue and hexagonal or diamond shaped shit left right and centre just like Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
Medal of Honor: Cyberwarrior portscan NK all day erreh day Medal of Honor: Peacekeeper walk around third world countries and don't shoot anything Medal of Honor: Logistics army logistics muthafuckaaa [editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
Pretty much all of the games after Allied Assault were mediocre. Pacific Assault(so god damned repetitive but the opening set piece battles were fun enough) and Airborne(no redeeming qualities at all) specifically were pretty bad, since I've only played the MoH games that are on the PC.
Medal of Honor: Airborne
NAZI STURM ELITE OMFG

If it's any game I want, it's DICE to make Battlefield 3: 1942 or something, that brings back ol' school weapons, planes, tanks etc.
Well BF 1942 WAS re-released on the frostbite engine.
Well BF 1942 WAS re-released on the frostbite engine.
Except it was only like 5% of the game. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] And is not even on PC.
Medal of Honor: Airborne
NAZI STURM ELITE OMFG

Oh sweet Jesus. Big, all black suit wearing, MG42 toting, gas mask wearing sons a bitches. The whole Flak Tower level was scary to me on harder difficulties, made worse by the fact that at least once in the level two of those bastards come at once.
I want a nice, realistic and historically accurate WWII game for a change.
And what does that have to do with Medal of Honor?
