Star Wars Battlefront PC beta impressions: the best sounding game ever made?

The optimization is fantastic on this one, gtx 660 and i5 3570k running the game at ultra without aa.

I just wish the gameplay was even more like bc2, the snow map is like heavy metal so open ended you end up getting killed frequently, and killing others isn't nearly that enjoyable now.

I know people who have played cod might definitely enjoy it.

Random power-ups on the map is also rather annoying, its fantastic when you get to play as vader or skywalker for a bit but its too rng.

They should just had them spawn at your base like in bc2 but there's not even bases here you rise from the snow like some undead trooper seeking revenge :v:

I feel like the game has a ton of issues, like everyone sprints around at top speed, which doesn't feel right for the gunplay. Imo sprinting needs to be slowed down or made to be much more dangerous to do like in Battlefront 2

I love the overall feel, but it's definitely shallow; if the full game fixes that, this will be a worthy followup, and the best Star Wars game in years. If not, I still look forward to picking it up on sale and playing it more casually.
