Behold, Sony's new 'user-replacable' hard drives required for the PS4:

(Not really, but I can imagine it being this way.)
[sp]proprietary shit, like with the PS Vita[/sp]
except it's already been confirmed they're replaceable with any bog-standard laptop HDD, and they've improved the maximum height of drives, effectively being less restrictive when it comes to swapping drives
you can talk about proprietary sony shit all you want but only when it's true (Memory Sticks/Vita cards are the only big example)
Sony only do things like that for their portables because the portables just aren't profitable, and high speed flash memory is pretty expensive anyway. Don't expect them to require any obscure or minor modified propriety HDD connectors.
Eh
I paid $34 for a 64gb class 10 microsdxc card while I paid $100 for my 32gb vita card which is like class 4 or 6 at best
There is room for prices drops
Who gives a shit. You have to install everything on PC, too. Welcome to our world, console users.
My computer only has a 280gb hard drive :(
And now the console users can't pull the "you need to wait to install the game to your harddrive" crap.
We got the COD Ghosts PS4 sleeves at GAME yesterday (I work there) and the minimum installation it said on the back was 49GB. I was like "Whaaaaaa..."
So what's the point of consoles again if they're not even plug & play any more?

Massive ease of use compared to a PC

exclusives and playing with friends
exclusives and playing with friends
also preference
not everyone wants to play on a pc. call their reasons stupid or whatever (spoiler they're not b/c its just videogames), because that's the way it is.
