I think it's just natural in an FPS to reload if your mag isn't full.
If I reload now, I won't have to when it's important. I think this when I buy condoms.
After playing GTA IV for too long, I was on a highway that had an accident on it or some shit. So I got out of the car and went to take a look, saw a helicopter flying above the highway and kind of started expecting it to start shooting at the cars and started looking for cover. Also trying Ctrl+Z/X/C/V in real life and hearing game sounds sometimes.
the closest thing I had to this was a lucid dream based in the real world with the gmod spawn menu
Also when I was little, I would look out of the car window and imagine the world looking like those scrolling backgrounds from old Sonic games, and sometimes Sonic too.
I sometimes think "I better quicksave" before I do something potentially stupid. I also drove on the sidewalk once and killed a dozen people but they haven't caught me yet.
I did the former while out driving with dad a while back. We were driving up a really steep, winding road with no barriers at the side and were like 80 metres from the ground on the side of the road next to the potential plummet to death and I kept thinking, "shit, I've gotta quicksave!"
When I was small I used to imagined a swiss-army-style little spaceship that could spawn all kinds of weapons, Inspector Gadget style. I would imagine it... like part of a side-scroller. During bus trips when looking out of the window, the little spaceship would fly outside and would have to destroy all objects in its way in a certain way. Stopped doing it when I discovered lasers were OP. It looked kinda like this if you'll excuse the poor sketch:
Might have not been a space ship, might have been a running guy or mario or something, might have been a blob, another kid, some stuff like that... Pretty sure almost everyone had their own version of this at one point.
The only game that affected me in real life was L.A. Noire. For some reason I was becoming a detective when I was just socializing with friends.
RO2 affected me really bad. I suffer from PTSD because of it.
This kind of thing only happens to me when i'm waking up in the mornings.. My mind uses video game references/memories and makes me think that is a reason not to get up.. Hard to explain.. one of those things where it only makes sense at the moment.
Wow, in my local newspaper they were talking about violent video games one week, and how children shouldn't be allowed to play them. then next week a letter is sent in. It is in perfect grammar and structure, about how a 13 year old girl who used to play grand theft auto all the time thought about running people over when she was in a car. Really? It's supposedly written in the first person, which is so sketchy.
I want to fast-forward through life (from playing the Sims games) and I want to quick save and quick load and redo/undo things (general games/computer usage). Also ctrl+f in a textbook. Every. Damn. Time.
After a Just Cause 2 marathon I started plotting places I would just the grapple hook to get to.

I remember once I stayed up all night playing Jedi Academy. I began to doze off and I had this half dream/ half awake thing of the game. I thought I was still playing it and at the same time I knew I was sleeping in the back of my mind.
when i play gran turismo 5 a lot, i feel like a race car driver when i drive in real life
when i play gran turismo 5 a lot, i feel like a race car driver when i drive in real life
Today in fox news: Psychopath gamer driver got in a car accident because of the ultra realistic driving games More at eleven
Newspapers and magazines often do editing on letters to fix grammar and structure, and other errors.
Except that in the one I read, there was another article with (sic) next to a few errors, so I assume they don't.
When i was really young and got Donkey Kong Country for my gameboy color, i played it so much that when i was in class one day i literally saw Donkey Kong running across the classroom.
Slightly related, I would try to knock people away from me like in Left 4 Dead while playing TF2.
