He's taking the persona that he built for himself after a few flippant comments and running with it. I found it kind of unpleasant at first, but now seeing how even the most obvious of jokes that he makes are met with "Is this guy for real?" I think it's hilarious.

I'm sorry but you're fucking wrong. I don't like Phil's attitude in the least but that doesn't mean it's worthwhile for so many Facepunch members to spew bullshit that is indisputably false. Phil did work very hard on the game, ignore anyone who says he didn't. He worked the same hours as Renaud (the exception to that being when Renaud had to patch the game post-release, but that's fucking obvious) and the entirety of the games design IS Phil Fish's decision. You can call the game shit (I haven't played it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was) or claim his design was shit but that was his domain and design is beyond important for a game.
If Phil truly is the person he consistently shows himself to be in all of the stupid things he has said, I really dislike him myself (and I'm pretty sure he is that person). But Phil did work hard on Fez and didn't have it "SUPER EAZY HAHA" by any stretch of the imagination, that's false.
Again though, I think Phil Fish is....well sort of a cunt.
