Mouse sensitivity might have been wrong choice of words there, but whenever I've tried watching any tournament games everything seems twitchy (and jumping from one player to the other doesn't help). Since the guy playing the game wants to cover all the spots he moves around/looks around pretty quickly.
Oh I don't particularly care for watching UT/Quake either though. To be honest this more of an issue that I have rather than something that is wrong with CS:GO.
The bigger tournaments generally have SourceTV (or GoTV or whatever it's called now days) servers up so you can connect with your game and control the camera yourself. The stream commentators are usually on there too and talks through the voice chat, so you won't miss that either.
I feel with some more notable casters like dota2, CS:GO would take off.

Use your arm to aim, not your wrist.
Also a huge part of CS is pre-aiming at the spots you suspect enemies to be coming from, which means low sensitivities are even more viable.
Its what I do, I generaly do bad in certain maps with weapons like the awp because I lack the muscle memory movement needed to pull off certain kills with very fast aim. Like those times you aim at a spot, but the enemy jumps out of somewhere or shows up on the opposite site and you just "throw" your reticule sort of randomly in his direction right at the same time you fire and you get the kill because you already have the distances measured in your head and your arm automatically does enough movement to aim at the correct spot.
I dont use my wrist, but I still have to use it at like 5 or 6 to get the sensitivity I like, without having to lift the mouse out of place to turn to someone, and enough to not fly half screen from a slight push.
I wish I could get into CSGO, I guess I'm more of a casual gamer.
Because I really don't like how half the weapons have a chance to 1-shot you, I'm more of a fan of having higher health and not-so-often chance of 1-shotting, such as TF2.
Maybe it's because I'm bad or something I dunno.
Definitely better than the average MOBA to watch and play in my opinion though.
They only 1 shot you if they go for the head with certain weapons or if they use the awp, but despite that, its still somewhat of a high risk weapon in competitive, since it costs 4750 credits and only awards you 50 per kill, so if you lose it at the wrong time, the tables might be turned on you.
Mobas have this thing how no match is equal to the other. They are always different because there are countless combinations. Hence why imo its extremely hard to properly measure skill between certain players (no counting comparing normal players to pros)
Csgo has less of a degree of this, but games can play so differently and you can throw a team off balance with just a slight change of tactic that it hurts.

I didn't know that! That seems like the perfect solution to my problem. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with that. I like CSGO for the exact same reason that skill gets you fast kills. Acing enemy team, all headshot is so satisfying. To lessen one shot death, buy kevlar with helmet, it makes you immune to one shot kills from a lot of weaker guns.
Sometimes people die fast but other times recoil is a bitch and you're both running around each other emptying a mag and then when you die find out that you did no damage to your opponent.
Bring back Quake III

CS;GO has a great casual mode, Arms race (or Demolition), it's all I really do and i enjoy CS a whole lot more now than i ever have now than in the 16 years previous, shit i play it with voice chat off and the chat box hidden so i don't see any shit talk too.
The biggest reason why I love arms race and by extension demolition mode, no matter how good you are, you will die often and you will get stuck with a gun you don't like. It's a great leveler for all players, 1 shots still happen but it's no where near as grating as casual servers with 10 more players in server than there should be and all of them buying AWP's.
