I’ve been looking around for some good tutorials on how to create models and characters for the source engine,
but I couldn’t find anything…
Is this just me looking in the wrong place?

Theres loads of 3dmax tutorials for source you just have to google it and you get many many of them, its anything else you get into problems finding stuff for.
Not sure about ZBrush tutorials for source specifically but i’m told it’s what they actually use to make the high poly models for baking in L4D and L4D2 so there must be something.
Yeah you mostly use 3ds max to create the main shape,
and then ZBrush to create the details.
At least, that’s what I’ve been told…
I’ll look around some more for 3ds max tutorials then.
Phoenix Storms made models using ZBrush and Milkshape so it’s definitely possible
