Here’s some of my original artwork: ArtStation - Zac Clark
This is what I’ve been working on with S2 until I can eventually see what’s possible with actual S&Box if I am ever blessed enough to get my hands on it. My discord is at the bottom should anyone on here need to contact me.
Keep in mind whatever I port for S2 is for the purpose of nice renders that a lot of people enjoy doing in Gmod and SFM and so on (no, not NSFW stuff).
Some examples of said renders:

With that said in mind my stuff isn’t really going to match the Terry theme but it’s something that really interests me and a lot of other people. I’ll document stuff I’m working on porting to S2 in this thread.
First thing I tried doing was porting a British WW1 dude to S2 with working physics + facial flexes. Turns out importing flexes from old models is as simple as exporting your mesh with your .vta as a .fbx and just importing it and your flexes will appear on the bottom right under the morphs tab, which is beyond nuts to me.
I also discovered that importing old phys models from old models is possible which most of you probably already know but this is great news for backwards compatibility.
Picture of Karl:
I was very pleasantly surprised that a ragdoll with that many joints could be ported over so quickly to S2 because this is an extremely painful task currently for gmod, hence why I was so surprised.
That’s it for now, getting all this stuff to work took me like less than 35 minutes (obviously took hours upon hours to make this stuff work for S1) which goes to show how good S2 is in terms of backwards compatibility in the converting sense of things for models/materials.
Here’s a backwards port, ported Terry into Gmod.
Here’s the files if you want to play around with him:
Just drag and drop what’s inside the .zip file into your garrysmod/garrysmod folder.
More to come as I learn more.
Here’s some of my previous work (randomly chosen from my renders folder), models made from scratch for a DayZ project but eventually ported to S1.
You can contact me at Divined#9833 if you need any help or whatsoever with porting stuff or modelling in general.
