"A new threat lies upon the horizon. Xen, and Her people, face adversity once again..."

Hopefully this can get me to get back into the Vortigaunt Chronicles and into an actual story with it.

Which just reminded me of an important plot point I never posted for the Vortigaunt Chronicles… Now I need incentive to do it again. :v:

Anyhow, enjoy and whatnot. Criticism always welcome.

Doesn’t look like Xen, looks more like Earth to me

Limited resources and good Xen maps prevent me from actually making it Xen-like.

Consider it a ‘re-imagining’ of Xen, or perhaps what Xen looked like prior to this threat and the Resonance Cascade. Imagination.

He could also be referring to the fauna and flora native to Xen, not the borderworld itself.

I know what he means. But the same thing applies. I don’t want to use HL:S stuff because it looks ugly in general.

Also, for those interested, I updated the OP with the past stories in the Vortigaunt Chronicles or Vortigaunt Saga. Most of the pictures, unfortunately, are dead and lost to cyber-space; but maybe you’re interested in the read.

hell yeah, please continue

Woot, Vortigaunt Chronicles, I remember that.

Thank you all for the positive feedback. I hope to get back onto The Vortigaunt Chronicles (among other projects) as soon as I can. More importantly, I hope not to disappoint with future entries.
