Adding sequences to the QC rotates the animation 90 degrees

I’ve been trying to make it so that the Combine Soldier could use both the throw and roll animations to toss grenades, and I added it in to the .qc like this:

	"combine_soldier_anims\grenDrop.smd"
	activity "ACT_COMBINE_THROW_GRENADE" 1
	{ event 7 26 "" }
	fadein 0.2
	fadeout 0.2
	fps 45
}


However, this ends up rotating the animation so that whenever the Combine Soldier plays the ‘grenDrop’ animation, he immediately rotates 90 degrees to the right to do so, and then rotates back afterwards. I’ve been trying to find an answer online, but I can’t seem to find anything.

Can anyone help me out? What am I doing wrong?
