Ai roam aimlessly

Hey guys I was just wondering if it was possible to make npcs
walk around the map from ai node to ai node until it finds
something to attack. I will need this for a Role Play server I
am working on atm the zombies spawn there and stay still until a
player get near them the ai nodes are perfect though i just need
help getting the npcs to move when they have not seen anything.
The gamemode spawns the npcs not the map.

Remember in year 3 of school when some people would press enter
when the cursor neared the end of the line? Basically that because
he doesn’t understand word wrap, which calls into question his
ability as a mapper.
