Alien Isolation RAW ASSETS release

Hello everyone. It’s been a while since AI made it into shelves, but all we got for Source are Ripley’s and Aliens, plus Motion Tracker and some other cool stuff.
But i think a lot of people appricieate’s Creative Assembly’s work on recreating enviroments and aestetics of classic movies.

And when i saw Matt Filer’s work on custom Black Ops 3 zombie map, which included Sevastopol’s interiors, i was super exited to see same for at least SFM.
I’ve asked him to share raw models and tools to use them. Textures i’ve extracted myself.

IT’S PRETTY MUCH ALL STUFF GAME HAS IN ITSELF.

And now some problems:
Not all meshes are exportable
There are not a lot of base textures, because game uses just flat color for them, for the most of props. All detail comes from geometry, normal maps and AO maps
Naming of models as well as textures, it’s LEGO like nature could take a lot of time for recreating scenery, but it’s not impossible

I’m uploading it because all we want that scenery in SFM, so i hope some of you could work on it)

Totally forgot to mention, that textures won’t open in Photoshop, neihter in paint.net and GIMP.
Just use PicoPixel to open em, or SageThumbs for easy preview

Wow, thanks for extracting the interiors over! Lots of us have been waiting for this.

I think i need to clarify, that all this stuff is raw as it could be. So, it’s still a lot of work to assembly and prepare stuff wanted to have in Source. It’s pretty much all models game has, just unpacked from game’s archives, that’s all.

What file format are the meshes? OBJs?
Have to ask before I download 6 GIGABYTES!

They appear to be .pOject, .ohead, .omdel, .smodel and .ff.

George are these files useful to someone who uses 3dsmax instead of Blender? Also, where are the textures?

So, my question may be dumb as you have specified it contains pretty much all the stuff in game but does that mean the Nostromo DLC assets too?

I tried downloading 4 different times, using two different browsers, and every time it tells me the model dump zip is corrupted.

Anyone else who tried downloading having a similar issue, or is it just me?

It must have it all, because me and Matt gone through ALL game folders and archives to unpack.
Also, Torrens is pretty much Nostromo, just different props and their placement.
My most wanted thing is Alien Derelict and i’ve tried to export it, but not all meshes are exportable. And i suck at 3d in general, but i can do literally nothing in blender(

Thanks, I figured out a way to get them into 3dsmax but it can be time consuming. I just imported each part into blender then exported it as a .obj for 3dsmax.

UPDATE: My photoshop cs6 can’t open up any of the textures sadly.

Hi, I can’t find PicoPixel to download. I installed SageThumbs and get a fuzzy inverted previews for most of the textures.

I also installed CS6 and the Nvidia Texture Tools Plugin which loads the textures in but displays them as black images.

I’ve downloaded your texture dump twice so I presume it’s not corrupt. Any ideas?

Thanks, at least I can see the textures now. I guess I’ll just have to screen grab them for now and see if that’s viable.

I hope someone will be able to rip models from this eventually. I managed but the all ended up orientated around 0,0,0 and a mess to sort out.
