It says it can’t read as_survival.prt, what to do?

Did you follow

You need to create a brush around the map (a hollow box will do) and texture it with tools/nolight and also call it “structure_seal” and compile in advanced-settings.

Sorry for the bump, but I got on this morning and all of my maps that were previously working are broken, I get the same “LoadPortals: couldn’t read” garbage when I have a door in my map, and when there are no doors it says its empty, please help…

How do you compile it with final-hdr?

Go to the expert settings for the compile window.

Sorry I figured it out, I had the structure_seal brush set to func_detail instead of func_brush, not sure why it let me get away with that yesterday, thanks anyway!
