Alien Swarm Leak Compiling Error

I try to make a simple test map in Alien Swarm, but it doesn’t run the map!
The compile log says that there’s a leak in the map, I have a func_brush around my map with the no lighting texture, and the name structure_seal. It still persists to give me this error.

Brush entities do not seal the map.

Actually you are suppose to surround the map with it terrent. Its a tad different.

Did you make sure your func_brush is 32 units thick on each side?

Thats what it says on the Valve Developer Community

I made it 32 units thick on each side, still doesn’t work. :frown:

From the looks at the the origin has to be at 0 0 256

So what?

Did you set the origin of the func_brush to 0 0 256?

Also the point file leads from the player, around a set of pipes then upwards to the ceiling, does this mean anything?

Whatever though, I fixed it. If you compile in expert mode it doesn’t give the error.

The entity isn’t your leak.
Load your pointfile and fix that black spot

Alien Swarm makes :siren: EVERY BRUSH INTO A FUNC_DETAIL. :siren:

Because of this, you must make the box that seals the level a func_brush with name “structure_seal”.
