Ar_Skyruin (CSGO)

For those of you lucky dogs who have gotten CSGO, I made a map.
I want you guys to take a look and see what you think.

"Ar_skyruin V2

Notes: -Fixed gameplay and made it more interesting. -Updated visuals -Fixed missing models -Added a .vmf for those who care (You can do whatever with it as long as you give me credit.)

Installing it. Throw the .bsp, .kv, and .nav in your “maps” folder

This is the Final version. Please enjoy and let me know if you have issues.

A video for those who can

The download is about 115mb uncompressed. The reason is I have some big fat textures (4096^2) So hate on me for that."

Yeah, let me know if there are any bugs or glitches that I should know about. Thanks for your time

Post screenshots, the guy that made the video just spends ages fighting bots and barely showcases it. The lighting is nice and I like the theme, but the brushwork isn’t great. For example, at 5:47 there’s a broken wall with displacement rubble, which looks pretty bad.

Oh, yeah… that’s the place for CS:GO maps

(User was banned for this post ("Dumb thread shitting in various threads." - postal))

This is the general mapping thread. All source games go here. CS:GO all the way back to HL2.

It’s a Source section. Do you want a separate section for each individual Source game and mod? Any maps that can be played in a Source game are posted here. Stop acting like you know better.

Oh my god. This was said in another thread, but you aren’t listening. This is where it would go. All Source maps can go here. Even if it SAYS it’s the Gmod section, it’s been established that it’s pretty much general mapping because there isn’t a section dedicated for every other engine.

That being said once again, good job Stiffy, that’s a good looking map. Shame I don’t have the BETA to try it out. :frowning:

Video could have done without the commentary, but overall looks like nice.
