Argonian citizen model problem

I tried to “fuse” two models: Half life 2’s human citizen and elder scrolls argonian, after some fusing and rigging, i tried to compile a single model, and it does… with a few problems.
When i try to spawn the model, Gmod doesn’t let me do it: i go to the folder where i put the model and when i click it, the “Something is causing script errors” pop up…err…pops up, and it doesn’t open the folder, and when i try to search it with the search bar, it doesn’t yield any results

So yep, i need help

The model has nothing to do with GMod saying “Something is causing script errors.” That means they’re lua errors; can you please post what the errors are?

Well, after taking another look at the QC file and the LUA error, i figured out the error was caused by the fact that the QC doesn’t include the model’s flexes, silly me…
after including the flexes and trying to compile:

If you have any addons that override default .lua files, remove them.

If your model has some weird symbols in its path remove them.

Something makes the gameprops.lua fail to find the models in directory you selected. Can you show screenshot of what you click when this happens?

Try removing the “(” and “)” from the file path.

Now the only thing that happens is that when i try to spawn the model, Garry’s mod closes, at least it’s now model-related…

What game did you compile the model for/which studio compiler did you use?

I used studiocompiler (I know that it doesn’t have a good fame, but it’s the only one that works for me) and i compiled it for ep1

Use TF2s studiomdl.exe.

I personally use EP2 and it works great, but you can try TF2’s.

I use TF2s, but both TF2 and EP2 are on the same engine, so there shouldn’t be much/any difference.

What about orangebox (I can’t find TF2’s studiomdl)

Well, it now lets me spawn the model, but it doesn’t spawn like a ragdoll, it spawns like an effect (Ragdoll can only be moved via a green circle near the ragdoll, and it’s posed like a “T”), i checked the files that i got when i compiled it, and i noticed that it’s missing the .phy file, which is wierd because i did compile it with a collision reference model.
