shadows become sharper the closer they are to their source, you should know that
looks ok but the shadows don’t really match the lighting pattern at all. the helmet looks as if there is something shining directly on to it while there’s a super heavy light source that casts almost blackening shadows to the side? idk.
Actually it depends on how bright and far your light source is I can have a blurry as fuck shadow and it be close. Just checked it while typing this on my desk.
ambient lights throw out blurry shadows, spots throw sharp ones generally. this picture looks like the latter.
