Bioshock Models/Props

Would it be possible to extract Models from Bioshock or Bioshock 2? I found a way to extract the models from the actual engine here:

Can we use 3D Ripper along with this to port these models?

Any specifics that you have in mind?

Maybe some of the furniture, Technology, Auto-diaries, Some weapons. I don’t exactly know the capabilities and how hard it is to port from the unreal engine.

Bump, I have seen Combine do it with his map Rp_Bioshock (WIP). So I know it is possible.

Someone should try to port some more of the Splicers. I really want Zigo.

Can anyone do this? It would be nice to use this in some maps and saves.

Umodel can port the models from Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2 with no issues, contains fully rigged models and exported textures. No need for 3ds ripper whatsoever.

It’s very possible and relatively simple for more experienced model people, so just sit tight I’m sure someone might do it eventually.
