Blender Baking textures to use with Source

I have made something that I want to use to put into SFM and GMOD. I am using blender and its built in materials tab. I now need to convert it to an image to use as my vtf but when I try and bake it, it includes light. does anyone know how to bake it without light sources or with a constant light source?
