Booted back to the main menu

Ok, So I am able to launch my game through Steam, once in the games main menu, I go to create server select my map and then gamemode of sandbox. Once I click start server or play, which ever it is. It will go through the GMOD spinning wheel and then at the end of the load it will eject me back to the main menu? Any Ideas? If you guys need any more info on my laptop or a dxdiag or something just ask.

Is it spitting any errors in the console by any chance?

I check there sometimes to see if something triggered the error.

I will go copy the console for you guys real quick.

Heres one I found after i got booted from the map.

Host_Error: Overflow error writing string table baseline LuaFilenames
Dropped Chainn from server (Disconnect by user.)
Connection to Steam servers successful.

And does this happen with every single map you load? Or just this one?

Happens when I load Evo City the original like v2 i think one? Also it seems to happen with most of my maps that arn’t downloaded with the game.

well i mean come stock i guess

That tells me this:

1: The maps themselves have issues.

2: Your laptop might not like certain maps

3: The map(s) may be conflicting with code due to a bug in some way or vice versa.

Not much more that I can think of. You may try testing with a new install of gmod or removing addons to see if it makes a difference.

Yeah I will defiantly try that once I get out of classes for the day.
