What would be really cool would be a “limit testing” map that just showcases all of the new features of the engine and map editor. Just something to really visualize how much potential there will be in S&box.
I’m really interested right now in the idea of Non-Euclidean geometry in virtual spaces and games (see this video by DigiDigger about non-Euclidean games, or this video by CodeParade about a non-Euclidean World Engine) and am wondering how cameras, screens, portals, and fancily constructed maps could be used to make cool environments to explore.
I think chernobyl is a good idea, a roleplay map based arround that with the town’s arround there, would be good.
A new evocity style map, probably something more modern, along with a new downtown map.
