Brushes and faces/performance

Does the number of brushes and faces significantly affect performance? Or is it mostly the filesize that suffers?

More brushes = more filesize

More faces = worse performance

FYI I’m talking about situations like if I have a brush and cut it into a bunch of brushes.

That’s okay to do, as long as you func_detail the smaller/more comlpex brushes.
