(Bug) Extreme lag-spikes in/on radtowns.

I couldn’t really find any posts that describe my problem.
Whenever I go below the ‘ground level’ into radtowns or stand on the radtown-model, my FPS drops from 50 to 2.

I have tried to reinstall the GPU-drivers, changed the video-settings to the lowest and played with Rusts settings. Nothing seems to work.

Rust: Stable branch

  • OS: Windows 7 64bit Professional
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ I5 4670 3.80 GHz
  • GPU: Asus GTX 970 STRIX
  • RAM: 24 GB
  • 2 screens (1920x1080 & 1680x1050)

Anyone having the same problem or solutions?

This has been already fixed. Try it again on a updated server.

The server should be the last version: 1793285
Is it the developer branch that is fixed?
The reason behind it might be caused by the server being linux. The FPS ‘only’ drops to 12 on the official server.

They gotta optimise the dungeons more, that’s the main reason why there are still fps drops. It was worse a couple weeks ago.

The thing is it drops to 2 FPS on my client … where my friends (who got a worse GPU) only lose 4-5 FPS.
Its from the last update and my client is basic unplayable inside radtowns.

True story,my team 5 of us Chased a guy into the tunels then we faced the enterence to the tunel and all of us had capped 4 Fps, while we all got killed cuz of this tunel dungeon crap that needs to be fixed I will not come near that SHIT but that dungeon SHIT is causing Fps drop emissions all across the map
