C# and .NET features

Do we know what features we will have available to us? A friend and I were working on a Gmod addon that we figured may as well wait till S&box comes out and work on it there instead, where a primary portion of the addon consists of running code provided to us from other addons, like a plugin system. Furthermore, code was editable in-game akin to Wiremods E2. Do we know if we will have runtime compilation from things like .NET’s CodeDomProvider or other mechanisms for stuff like this?


We can make anything available as long as it’s safe to do so.

Runtime code compiling, or script compiling isn’t totally out of the question but my latest experiments with it a few days ago revealed it to be really slow and memory leaking. It might be possible for us to make our own script system that could possibly not have these issues, but I need to look into it more.
