So I guess they finally pulled off a “next-gen” Call of duty, someone was bound to create a thread requesting models soon so I thought hey why not make one with a proper OP.

Here’s something important to mention, if you plan on ripping/porting anything multiplayer do so from the menu. The 3D character models of your character in the menu are much higher quality than in the actual game.

I think it’ll be different for campaign however as while I’m not entirely sure Campaign models are generally higher quality. Not an impossible thought considering the graphical differences between SP and MP.

It’s generally worth mentioning this game has a lot of models worth porting for multiple purposes, one more primary in mind would be head resources from the campaign. Sorry if I’m rambling but this CoD is great in comparison to previous releases and they’ve done a fantastic job.

the game is 64-bit and afaik it doesn’t work with ninjaripper because of that.

Ninjaripper is never used for Call of Duty model extraction anyway (as far as I know) so I don’t see the issue. Also what part of my statement are you referring to.

Well, this is running on a modified version of the IW engine, and we got plenty of experience porting from there.

the counter-strike community will be extracting and converting models in no time, anyway. They always do, somehow

Eh, I’ll probably rent it first for the campaign. If I like it, I’ll buy it from Gamefly for a discount. I do like the thought of customizing your multiplayer character with different armors. I think the same goes for different genders as well. Gives you that chance to stand out among the tons of the almost identical character models in MP from the last games.

This game is 100% better then Cod Ghost i was able to max out my graphics on AW while no amount of messing with the graphics fixed how bad ghost was optimized for pc.

Although i still can’t get over how lazy they got with compression and organisation on pc for Ghost and this game,i feel you could throw all the .ff files for your custom character into maybe 1 or 2 .ff files maybe 3 and put everything back in it’s folders like it was for black ops 2 cause everything is thrown right into the main folder where the exe is at and it’s just stupid.

Hell i bet GTA5 for pc will be lower in file size then this game and it’s now gonna be a 3rd and first person game…

I need more 3D Kevin Spacey in my life. I said I when the game was announced and I’ll say it again: If I get the head files, I will make all of the morph targets needed for FACS. I think this is the perfect project to try and match the actor’s face instead of going against a base. COD still has the dead eyes/flapping lips problem. Let’s kick it up a notch!
