can someone help me reduce lag?

gmod is amazing, and i am on it nearly everyday. problem is…the lag is beginning to become a bit annoying, any suggestions? (i’ll post specs later, im on a skool computer right now :^/

Most likely your PC.

GMod networking is a disaster. Get used to it.

Run it at a custom resolution? You can also try lowering the Direct X level.

ya gmod works pretty good on my comp i think its just the HDR and water effects that make me lag

ya…but if HDR automatically comes on a map, does that work?

You can still turn HDR off.
