Cannot find maplist.txt

Upon starting Garrys Mod with -console, I noticed to red errors. One was for not being able to find maplist.txt. When starting single player, I can only choose between the two default maps and no others. I searched my steam directory and wasn’t able to find a maplist.txt anywhere.
