My Ep2 game cache need defragmenting, which lead to an alert about needing to convert to the new “Steam Pipeline,” so my game had to do some file moving and conversions.
Well after all this happened, I couldn’t compile models using my compiler batch script, and I tried to fix it to use the new gameinfo.txt path, but now I’m getting an error: “Error opening c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\half-life 2\ep2.qc”
Any clue how to fix this error? I can’t find a “ep2.qc” of any sort.
My script is as follows (In case it helps any):
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\bin\studiomdl.exe" -game "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\ep2" %1 Pause
And please don’t suggest studiomdl, that program and I have… issues.
