Can't compile models after Ep2 Pipelined

My Ep2 game cache need defragmenting, which lead to an alert about needing to convert to the new “Steam Pipeline,” so my game had to do some file moving and conversions.
Well after all this happened, I couldn’t compile models using my compiler batch script, and I tried to fix it to use the new gameinfo.txt path, but now I’m getting an error: “Error opening c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\half-life 2\ep2.qc”
Any clue how to fix this error? I can’t find a “ep2.qc” of any sort.
My script is as follows (In case it helps any):

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\bin\studiomdl.exe" -game "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\ep2" %1
Pause

And please don’t suggest studiomdl, that program and I have… issues.

Pretty much ALL the tools are broken now because of the Steampipe conversion. You need to wait for people to update their tools.

i converted all of mine but i can still compile fine under the old folder

Create a 2007 mod, convert to 2009 and compile to that.

How do you convert a 2007 mod to a 2009 mod?

in sourceSDK edit the configuration. The only real reason you want to do that is to make sure that HLMV works fine.
