Can't upload custom spray

I’ve noticed I can’t upload any custom sprays. I have tried TGA and VTF. At first I thought I was doing something wrong in the conversion of the file so didn’t bother. Then my friend gave me the spray he uses, and it doesn’t work either. When I click “Import spray”, then select the file and press OK, it doesn’t change. It doesn’t say anything and it still shows the spray as that target. Any help please? Anybody else having similar issues?

Please avoid hijacking help threads, he probably re formatted the image a few times. Sprays in orange box games aren’t exactly easy. Try .jpg?
