Carbon Admin - Server Admin Tool

Carbon Admin
A Server Administrator’s Best Friend

I have gotten a lot of good feedback from this AutoHotKey based admin tool that I have made, and posted on the RustOxide forums, that I thought I would take my chances here for any of the admins/owners who don’t visit that website. The program is a constant Work In Progress since the game itself is also a work in progress.

Q: What does this program do?
A: This program streamlines the currently lengthy and annoying administrative process for Server Owners/Moderators, by showing an easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) to input their administrative commands, which are then sent to the in-game console, and are executed from there.

Q: Does this program track my keystrokes/passwords?
A: No, it does not. You can find the entire source code on my GitHub (, and see for yourself.

Q: Can I get banned for using this?
A: In my current experience, no you cannot. The program itself doesn’t actually inject anything into the game. It runs outside the game, and when you need to use it, it just acts like fingers on a keyboard, inputting console commands. Check the source code if you’re nervous about it.

Q: Why doesn’t this have (insert idea here)?
A: The most likely reason is because I haven’t thought of it yet. The code itself is very ugly right now, but I am always looking for new things to add to the program to make it even better. Have a suggestion? Post it here, or tweet me (@C6_Creations) and I will do my best to put the feature in the program.

1.) Run Rust in Windowed Mode
2.) Connect to your server.
3.) Press F2 to open the Admin Script Menu
4.) Click Login and Input Server Password
5.) Enjoy

X.) In order to use the item spawning menus, you need to download some extra files. The program itself is able to be used without downloading those files, but you will not be able to spawn items from the program, with the exception of admin only items.

Shortcut Keys

Looks cool, good work man.

Thanks guys. It doesn’t look anywhere near as good as your tool, sSmiley, but I am new to programming.
