As it says above, how would I see if a player is in or near water? Maybe create in invisible box/trigger area to see if they are in the box/colliding with it?
You could use
Entity:WaterLevel to check if they’re in the water, not sure how to check if they’re near water though
you might try projecting a sphere of low range traces that test for water
but if you are making a map, yeah you could just use a trigger
if you’re using a premade map you could manually define boxes representing areas near water via code
