Compiler giving out an .MDL of 0 bytes?

I was about to finish my 2nd playermodel, the first one was done and all that was remaining was the mega version, the QC and the SMD files are both correct, same with crowbar itself as I tried it with other models, but for some reason, when it compiles the result of the compiling is a single MDL of 0 bytes, no .PHY, no .vvd, no nothing, just the .MDL of 0 bytes, here’s the qc:

It is unusually short, skipping an undetermined part, but it also loads for some long time when it finishes the “sequences 856 bytes (3 seq)” line.
Has anyone expirienced the same problem? If so how did you get it fixed???

I have encountered this problem before. The GMOD compiler tends to give that problem when compiling models with many bodygroups for some reason. No idea why.

But compiling the model with another compiler like the HL2 EP:2 compiler solves the problem.

Does that mean all I have to do is make less bodygroups? Because I know just the right ones to remove.

I should have stated this eariler, but that should work just fine if you insist on using the GMOD compiler.

You are using an outdated Crowbar version, which uses by default, the SDK MP 2013 model compiler for Garry’s Mod instead of the one included with Garry’s Mod. The latest Crowbar is version 0.44, which has the correct Garry’s Mod model compiler set as the default.
