Whenever I play Gmod and I set down multiple NPCs and kill them it does this:
and then crashes if I continue to kill more NPCs. Please help.
My computer is shit but Im getting a new one.
Here are my specs:
Genuine Intel CPU 2160 @ 1.8ghz (2 cpus)
1016mb RAM
Intel® 82945G Express Chipset Family
That seems to be better than mine… do you have “Keep Ragdolls” on? If not, you should turn it on because your crash may be caused by the number of NPC corpses lying around, while with “Keep Ragdolls,” you can press z or whatever your undo button is to delete the corpse.

Turn “Keep Ragdolls” on.
haha, ok dude. i had pretty much the same issue as you. its your fail graphics chipset.
the 945gma is absolute garbage.
here throw this in your startup commands for gmod.

i searched for a long time before finding this code for my laptop. fixed mine, but not my friend, but he had a 965gma so that could be it.
it crashes without windowed, so just set the 640 and 480 to something more manageable like 800 and 600 or if you have the screen real estate maybe 1024 and 768 or higher.

Edit: It doesn’t work, puts it in a window screened then does the whole not responding thing and then crashes.
I tried that before but it still happens.

Please help, I put GMOD on the lowest settings and it still does this
Short term solution: Try a lower dxlevel.
Long term solution: Get a better PC.
How do I lower my dxlevel?
Right Click any game on steam > Propreties > Launch Settings > -dxlevel 80
Done.
